The best thing for your best friend is to be there with them as much as possible. Trust i work there, and ive been a patient there... many times. He/She needs you more than ever.
:) aw thanks i am trying my best! its hard to be there and not know what to do for him, but he has a lot of people around him that care about him taking care of him, so i'm thankful for that
Bring him things to do, like crosswords or books, even a computer, if the hospital has wireless. I know its incredibly boring to just sit there sick and uncomfortable. Being in the hospital really blows.
