Ringling Circus Museum

Every time I visit, it still amazes me to see the tiny model of the circus available! The circus model has been a work in progress in many years, and is still not completed. There are many posters, facts, displays, artifacts, and antiques, all related to the circus. Its always a fun and silly learning adventure.

The Bay

This is a photo I took of a secluded beach near my house. Its close enough to bike or walk to and I have to walk through a lot of forestry to get to it. Its a perfect place to sit and think.

Spring Break: South Lido

Over Spring Break, I went down to South Lido and walked around the trails until I reached the water. The trees in there are amazing, and there are plenty of exotic looking birds! While out there, I saw sail boats, kayaks, canoes, and many people just walking around.

Ca d'Zan Mansion

Yesterday I visited the Ca' d'Zan Mansion. It was unlike any house I have ever seen before. The architecture was elegant and colorful. Inside was full of STUFF. Beautiful antiques and art filled all of the rooms. Out back was a lovely view of the bay. I would love to just sit out there on a nice day!

Turtle Beach

Today I went on a Kayaking adventure in Turtle Beach. The weather was perfect, sunny and cool. We stopped on a bank and had a nice picnic in the mangroves. What gorgeous scenery!

The Garbagemen

This past Saturday at the farmers market, I saw a new band in the corner space! Five young boys, all around 14, where playing instruments completely made from garbage! They were dressed to impress, and playing the likes of The Beatles, Elvis, and even some Surf Rock!

Two Senoritas

For lunch today I met my family at Two Senoritas, a Mexican Restaurant downtown. It was great! Afterward we walked around downtown. It was a muggy day but it was still great to walk around the shops.
